A. TOKYO SKYTREE has an architectural framework called truss structure， which connects main members， horizontal members， and diagonal members in a triangular shape. In the construction work， special steel pipes called branch joints were directly welded and connected to each other without plates， making it looks simple and suppressing the generation of rust.
「トラス構造」という主材、水平材、斜材からなる各部材を三角形状に接合していった構造体骨組みを用いている。各部材の接合は、「分岐継手」と呼ばれる鋼管同士を、プレートなどを介さずに直接、溶接接合する方法を採用。これは見た目にシンプルで、錆が出にくいという特徴がある。
